A psalm of Asaph.Yahweh, the God of gods speaks;
He summons the earth from east to west.

From east to west the Lord's name is deserving of praise.

those whom he gathered from other lands from the east, west, north, and south.

As far as the east is from the west,
so far has He removed
our transgressions from us.

For honour does not come from the east, or from the west, or uplifting from the south;

Even those living in the most remote areas are awestruck by your acts; you cause those living in the east and west to praise you.

God has spoken in His holiness [in His promises]:
“I will rejoice, I will divide [the land of] Shechem and measure out the Valley of Succoth [west to east].

He sent an east wind from heaven, driving on the south wind by his power.

Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.
