And the LORD has removed men far away, and there are many forsaken places in the midst of the land.

Be shattered, O you people, you shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all you from far countries: gird yourselves, and you shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and you shall be broken in pieces.

They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.

The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.

We all growl like bears, and mourn greatly like doves: we look for justice, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us.
