First remove the log from your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck of chaff that is in your brother's eye.

And why do you see the speck of chaff that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?

The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore when your eye is good, your whole body is also full of light; but when it is bad, your body also is full of darkness.
