And this the sign to you; ye shall find the babe swathed, lying in a manger.

And Simeon praised them, and said to Mary his mother, Behold, he is laid for the fall and rising up of many in Israel; and for a sign spoken against;

And others, tempting, sought a sign of him from heaven.

And crowds being collected, he began to say, This is an evil generation: it seeks a sign; and no sign shall be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.

For as Jonas was a sign to the Ninevites, so shall be the Son of man to this generation.

And they asked him, saying, Teacher, when therefore shall these be and what the sign when these should be about to be
