He shall make a firm covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who destroys, and even until a complete destruction, until the decreed end is poured out on the one who destroys."

Fulfill the week of this one, and we will give you the other also for the service which you will serve with me yet seven other years."

Jacob did so, and fulfilled her week. He gave him Rachel his daughter as wife.

LORD, how long will the wicked, how long will the wicked triumph?

It happened, when Hushai the Archite, David's friend, had come to Absalom, that Hushai said to Absalom, "Long live the king. Long live the king."

We see no miraculous signs. There is no longer any prophet, neither is there among us anyone who knows how long.

Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem until the time of an anointed prince, there shall be seven weeks, and sixty-two weeks. It shall be built again, with open spaces and a moat, but in times of distress.

You shall count for yourselves seven weeks: from the time you begin to put the sickle to the standing grain you shall begin to number seven weeks.
