Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, power and glory, victory and praise: for all that is in heaven and in earth is thine, and thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art lifted up a head above all. What is he, but he knoweth that the hand of the LORD made all these? In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all men.

O magnify our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard, who holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to slip.

And why? God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another. For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full mixed, and he poureth out of the same. As for the dregs thereof, all the ungodly of the earth shall drink them, and suck them out.

For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are all the corners of the earth; and the strength of the hills is his also. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands prepared the dry land.
