The wild beasts shall worship me: the dragon, and the Ostrich. For I shall give water in the wilderness, and streams in the desert: that I may give drink to my people, whom I choose.

And all creatures, which are in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and in the sea, and all that are in them heard I, saying, "Blessing, honour, glory, and power be unto him that sitteth upon the seat, and unto the lamb for evermore."

And the time of the dwelling of the children of Israel, which they dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years. And when the four hundred and thirty years were expired, even the self same day departed all the hosts of the LORD out of the land of Egypt. This is a night to be observed to the LORD, because he brought them out of the land of Egypt. This is a night of the LORD, to be kept of all the children of Israel and of their generations after them.

O praise the LORD, ye that fear him! Magnify him, all ye seed of Jacob, and fear him, all ye seed of Israel.

Offer unto God thanksgiving, and pay thy vows unto the most highest. And call upon me in the time of trouble; so will I hear thee, and thou shalt praise me."

O LORD, thou art my God, I will praise thee, and magnify thy name: For thou bringest marvelous things to pass, according to thine old counsels, truly and steadfastly. Thou makest of towns, heaps of stone; and of head Therefore shall the mighty people give glory unto thee, and the cities of the cruel Heathen must fear thee.

Then shall Jerusalem be called the LORD's seat, and all Heathen shall be gathered unto it, for the name of the LORD's sake, which shall be set up at Jerusalem. And from that time forth, they shall follow no more the imagination of their own froward heart.

And I will return the captivity of Judah and Israel: and will set them up again as they were afore. From all misdeeds wherein they have offended against me, I will cleanse them: And all their blasphemies which they have done against me, when they regarded me not, I will forgive them. And this shall get me a name, and praise and honour, among all people of the earth, which shall hear all the good, that I will show unto them: Yea, they shall be afraid and astonished at all the good deeds and benefits that I will do for them.

Furthermore, brethren, pray for us, that the word of God may have free passage, and be glorified, as it is with you:

And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels about the throne, and about the beasts and the elders, and I heard thousand thousands, saying with a loud voice, "Worthy is the lamb that was killed to receive power, and riches and wisdom, and strength, and honour and glory, and blessing."

Whoso offereth me thanks and praise, he honoureth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation right, will I show the salvation of God."

And when those beasts gave glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the seat, which liveth forever and ever, the twenty four elders fell down before him that sat on the throne, and worshipped him that liveth forever, and cast their crowns before the throne saying, "Thou art worthy, Lord, to receive glory, and honour, and power, for thou hast created all things, and for thy will's sake they are, and were created."

These come unto thee, after the manner of a great people: yea, my people sit down before thee, and hear thy words, but they do not thereafter: for in their mouths they show themselves, as though they were fervent, but their heart goeth after their own covetous lucre.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, "Phinehas the son of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned mine anger away from the children of Israel, because he was jealous for my sake among them; that I had not consumed the children of Israel in my jealousy. Wherefore, say, 'Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace,read more.
and he shall have it and his seed after him, even the covenant of the priest's office forever, because he was jealous for his God's sake and made an atonement for the children of Israel.'"

Therefore thus sayeth the LORD, "Forsomuch as this people, when they be in trouble, do honor me with their mouth, and with their lips, whereas their heart nevertheless is far from me; and the fear which they owe unto me, that turn they to men's laws and doctrines;

Either, know ye not how that your bodies are the temple of the holy ghost, which is in you, whom he have of God, and how that ye are not your own? For ye are dearly bought. Therefore glorify ye God in your bodies and in your spirits, for they are God's.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercifulness of God, that ye make your bodies a living sacrifice: holy and acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable serving of God.

And we always bear in our bodies the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus might appear in our bodies. For we which live, are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might appear in our mortal flesh.

Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstlings of all thine increase:

The isles also shall gather them unto me, and especially the ships of the sea: that they may bring the sons from far, and their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, unto the holy one of Israel, that hath glorified thee.

and not so only, but is also chosen of the congregations to be a fellow with us in our journey, as concerning this benevolence that is ministered by us unto the praise of the Lord, and to stir up your prompt mind.

He that doth a poor man wrong, blasphemeth his maker; but whoso hath pity of the poor, doth honour unto God.

"When the son of man shall cometh in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the seat of his glory and before him shall be gathered all nations. And he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth the sheep from the goats. And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, and the goats on the left hand.read more.
Then shall the King say to them on his right hand, 'Come, ye blessed children of my father, inherit ye the kingdom prepared for you from the beginning of the world. For I was a hungered, and ye gave me meat. I thirsted, and ye gave me drink. I was harborless, and ye lodged me. I was naked and ye clothed me. I was sick and ye visited me. I was in prison and ye came unto me.' Then shall the righteous answer him saying, 'Master, when saw we thee a hungered, and fed thee? Or athirst, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee harborless, and lodged thee? Or naked and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison and came unto thee?' And the King shall answer and say unto them, 'Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it to me.'

Pure devotion, and undefiled before God the father, is this: To visit the friendless, and widows in their adversity, and to keep himself unspotted of the world.

If ye will not hear it, nor regard it, to give the glory unto my name, sayeth the LORD of Hosts, I will send a curse upon you, and will curse your blessings. Yea, curse them will I if ye do not take heed.

And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, "Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them."

And thou, his son, O Belshazzar, for all this, hast not submitted thine heart, though thou knewest all these things: but hast magnified thyself above the LORD of heaven, so that the vessels of his house were brought before thee: that thou, and thy lords, with thy queen and concubines, might drink wine thereout: and hast praised the Idols of silver and gold, copper and iron, of wood and stone. As for the God in whose hand consisteth thy breath and all thy ways: thou hast not loved him. Therefore is the palm of this hand sent hither from him, to token up this writing.read more.
And this is the scripture that is written up, 'Mene, Tekel, Phares.' Now the interpretation of the thing is this: Mene, God hath numbered thy kingdom, and brought it to an end. Tekel, thou art weighed in the balance, and art found wanting: Phares, thy kingdom is dealt in parts, and given to the Medes and Persians." Then commanded Belshazzar to clothe Daniel with purple, to hang a chain of gold about his neck, and to make a proclamation concerning him: that he should be the ruler of the third part of his kingdom. The very same night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain, and Darius out of Media took in the kingdom, being sixty two years of age.

Nevertheless, we yet see not all things subdued unto him. But him that was made less than the angels, we see that it was Iesus: which is crowned with glory and honour for the suffering of death; that he, by the grace of God, should taste of death for all men.

And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also, which dwelt at Ephesus, and fear came on them all. And they magnified the name of the Lord Jesus.

Even then, verily, when he received of God the father honour and glory, and when there came such a voice to him from that excellent glory. "This is my dear beloved son, in whom I have delight" -

While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud shadowed them. And behold, there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, "This is my dear son, in whom I delight; hear him."

And there was a cloud that shadowed them. And a voice came out of the cloud saying, "This is my dear son, hear him."

And there came a voice out of the cloud saying, "This is my dear son, hear him."

because that all men should honour the son, even as they honour the father. He that honoureth not the son, the same honoureth not the father which hath sent him.

Jesus answered, "I have not the devil: but I honour my father, and ye have dishonored me. I seek not mine own praise: but there is one that seeketh it and judgeth.

Wherefore the LORD God of Israel sayeth, 'I said that thine house and the house of thy father should have walked before me forever. But now the LORD sayeth that be far from me: for them that honoureth me I will honour, and they that despise me, shall not be regarded.

In God is my health and my glory, the rock of my might; and in God is my trust.

And lo, in that time will I destroy all those that vex thee: I will help the lame, and gather up the cast away: yea, I will get them honour and praise in all lands, where they have been put to shame. At the same time will I bring you in, and at the same time will I gather you. I will get you a name and a good report among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, sayeth the LORD.

If any man minister unto me, let him follow me: and where I am, there shall also my minister be. And if any man minister unto me, him will my father honour.

tribulation and anguish, upon the soul of every man that doth evil. Of the Jew first: And also of the gentile. To every man that doth good shall come praise, honour and peace, to the Jew first, and also to the gentile. For there is no partiality with God:

"Honour thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

"Honour thy father and mother," that is the first commandment that hath any promise, "that thou mayst be in good estate, and live long on the earth."

"Should not a son honour his father, and a servant his master? If I be now a father, where is mine honour? If I be the LORD, where am I feared? sayeth the LORD of Hosts, now, to you priests that despise my name. And if ye say, 'Wherein have we despised thy name?'

Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees from Jerusalem, saying, "Why do thy disciples transgress the traditions of the elders? For they wash not their hands, when they eat bread." He answered, and said unto them, "Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God, through your traditions?read more.
For God commanded, saying, 'Honour thy father and mother,' and, 'He that curseth father or mother, shall suffer death.' But ye say, 'Every man shall say to his father or mother: That which thou desirest of me to help thee with, is given God.' And so shall he not honour his father or his mother. And thus have ye made, that the commandment of God is without effect, through your traditions.

Thou knowest the commandments: Thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not bear false witness; Honour thy father, and thy mother."

Be kind one to another, with brotherly love. In giving honour go one before another.

Receive him therefore in the Lord with all gladness, and make much of such:

The elders that rule well are worthy of double honour, most specially they which labour in the word and in teaching.
