For we are unto God a sweet fragrance of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish: To the one we are the fragrance of death unto death; and to the other the fragrance of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things? For we are not as many, who corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.




The prophet that has a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that has my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? says the LORD.



For neither at any time used we flattering words, as you know, nor a cloak of covetousness; God is witness:


For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:


Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River, and in Egypt; and serve you the LORD.


Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.






And said unto him, If you are the Son of God, cast yourself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning you: and in their hands they shall bear you up, lest at any time you dash your foot against a stone.




As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable twist, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
