The fool multiplies words and says, Man cannot tell what shall be, and what shall be after him, who can tell him?

Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the prudent, Give us of your oil, for our lamps are going out. But the prudent answered, saying, Lest there be not enough for us and you, but go ye rather to them that sell and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and those that were ready went in with him to the marriage, and the door was shut. Afterward the other virgins also came, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

















But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,

Behold, the days come, said the LORD, that I will confirm the good Word which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.


Of this man's seed has God according to his promise raised up Jesus as Saviour unto Israel:

And when thy days are fulfilled and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.

to fulfill mercy unto our fathers and remembering his holy covenant of the oath which he made to our father Abraham,





For the promise that he should be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.







who by faith won kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,


Blessed be the LORD that has given rest unto his people Israel according to all that he had said; not one word has failed of all his good word, which he spoke by the hand of Moses, his slave.


For he remembered his holy word with Abraham his slave.




Now I say that Christ Jesus, was a minister of the circumcision, by the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers;
