Do not store up treasures for yourselves on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.

And he who has prepared us for this change is God, who has also given us his Spirit as a pledge. Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, while our home is in the body, we are absent from our home with the Lord. For we guide our lives by faith, and not by what we see. And in this confidence we would gladly leave our home in the body, and make our home with the Lord.
