And say to Archippus, Take heed to fulfil the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord.

Procure to come before winter. Eubulus greets thee, and Pudens and Linus and Claudia and all the brethren.


And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women who laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also and with my other fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.


And one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?





And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way and said unto them,

And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he tried to join himself to the disciples; but they were all afraid of him and did not believe that he was a disciple.


And finding the disciples, we tarried there seven days, who said to Paul through the Spirit that he should not go up to Jerusalem.




After these things the Lord appointed another seventy also and sent them two by two before his face into every city and place where he himself would come.




And the Lord said unto him, Arise and go into the street which is called Straight and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus; for, behold, he prays


And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.


And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem, when they had fulfilled their ministry, and took with them John, whose surname was Mark.

And when they arrived at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews, and they also had John as an attendant.

And considering this, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark, where many were gathered together praying.

Now when Paul and his company sailed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia; then John, departing from them, returned to Jerusalem.


Salute Philologus and Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints who are with them.

Salute Prisca and Aquila and the household of Onesiphorus.


And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue, but when Aquila and Priscilla had heard him, they took him unto them and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

After these things Paul departed from Athens and came to Corinth and found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla (for Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome) and came unto them. And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them and worked, for by their occupation they were tentmakers.

And Paul after this tarried there yet a good while and then took his leave of the brethren and sailed from there into Syria and with him Priscilla and Aquila, having shorn his head in Cenchrea, for he had a vow. And he came to Ephesus and left them there, but he himself entered into the synagogue and reasoned with the Jews.

Greet Priscilla and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus (who have for my life laid down their own necks; unto whom not only I give thanks, but also all the congregations of the Gentiles);

Salute Prisca and Aquila and the household of Onesiphorus.

The congregations of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the congregation that is in their house.


Now there were in the congregation that was at Antioch prophets and teachers: Barnabas and Simeon that was called Niger and Lucius of Cyrene and Manaen, who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.
