The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them who do iniquity;

And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie; but they who are written in the Lamb's book of life.

God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.


God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth.

My heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome, because of the LORD, and because of the words of his holiness.








The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.




The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so he opened not his mouth:

And he took with him Peter, and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy. Then saith he to them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even to death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt.


For the zeal of thy house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee have fallen upon me.


But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised by the people.

For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.



For which is greater, he that sitteth at table, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at table? but I am among you as he that serveth.





And brought the ass and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.



For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.






Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears to him that was able to save him from death, and was heard, in that he feared;



Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I may take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received from my Father.


Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?




Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.


When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again to a mountain himself alone.



And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at table in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples. And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?


Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan to John, to be baptized by him. But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized by thee, and comest thou to me? And Jesus answering said to him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he suffered him.


And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. And she brought forth her first-born son, and wrapped him in swaddling-clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.


After that, he poured water into a basin, and began to wash the disciples feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which he was girded.




Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.

The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.








Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn to our fathers from the days of old.


All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth to such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.


And I heard another from the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
