Look on life with the wife whom you love all the days of the life of your vanity, which He has given you under the sun, all the days of your vanity. For that is your share in this life, and in your labor which you labor under the sun.

But if she is indeed separated, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband. And a husband is not to leave his wife. But to the rest I speak, not the Lord, If any brother has a wife who does not believe, and she is pleased to dwell with him, do not let him put her away.

He said to them, Because of your hard-heartedness Moses allowed you to put away your wives; but from the beginning it was not so.
