to {proclaim} [the] year of Yahweh's favor, and our God's day of vengeance, to comfort all those in mourning,
Come to me, all [of you] who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke on you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke [is] easy to carry and my burden is light."
And [when] the Lord saw her, he had compassion for her and said to her, "Do not weep!"

Afflicted saints » end in joy and blessedness
Blessed [are] the ones who mourn, because they will be comforted.
Those who sow with tears shall reap with rejoicing. He who diligently goes [out] with weeping, carrying the seed bag, shall certainly come [in] with rejoicing, carrying his sheaves.
to {proclaim} [the] year of Yahweh's favor, and our God's day of vengeance, to comfort all those in mourning, to {give} for those in mourning in Zion, to give them a head wrap instead of ashes, [the] oil of joy instead of mourning, a garment of praise instead of a faint spirit. And {they will be called} oaks of righteousness, the planting of Yahweh, to show his glory.
But to the degree that you share in the sufferings of Christ, rejoice, so that also at the revelation of his glory you may rejoice [and] be glad. If you are reviled on account of the name of Christ, [you are] blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.

And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news about him went out throughout all the surrounding region. And he began to teach in their synagogues, [and] was praised by all. And the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him, and unrolling the scroll he found the place where it was written, "The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because of which he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to send out in freedom those who are oppressed, to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord."

and say to them, 'Thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel: "The man is cursed who does not obey the words of this covenant, which I commanded your ancestors in the day of my bringing them from the land of Egypt, from the furnace of iron, {saying}, 'Listen to my voice and do according to all that I command you, {so will you be my people, and I will be your God}.' in order to keep the oath that I swore to your ancestors, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as [it is] this day."
