It is the spirit that makes alive; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I speak to you are spirit and life. But there are some among you who believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who he was that would betray him. And he said: For this reason I said to you: No one can come to me unless it be given him from my Father.
