"If the world hate you, ye know that he hated me before he hated you.
And they were filled full of madness, and communed one with another, what they might do to Jesus.
But his citizens hated him, and sent messengers after him, saying, 'We will not have this man to reign over us.'
The world cannot hate you. Me it hateth: Because I testify of it, that the works of it are evil.
Even that the saying might be fulfilled that is written in their law, 'They hated me without a cause.'
When the high priests and ministers saw him, they cried, saying, "Crucify him, crucify him." Pilate said unto them, Take ye him and crucify him: For I find no cause in him.

If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered: and men gather it and cast it into the fire, and it burneth. If ye shall keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love: even as I have kept my father's commandments, and abide in his love. Jerusalem is built as a city, that is at unity in itself. For there the tribes go up, even the tribes of the LORD, to testify unto Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD. For there is the seat of judgment, even the seat of the house of David.

He that forsaketh the right street, shall be sore punished; and whoso hateth correction, falleth into death.
