Clothe yourselves, therefore, as the chosen of God, holy and beloved, with compassionate affections, kindness, lowliness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with each other, and forgiving each other, if any one have a complaint against another; even as Christ freely forgave you, do ye also freely forgive;

Take heed to yourselves. If thy brother sin, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he sin against thee seven times in a day, and seven times turn to thee, saying, I repent, thou shalt forgive him.

Then came Peter, and said to him, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times? Jesus saith to him, I say not to thee, until seven times, but until seventy times seven.

Take heed to yourselves. If thy brother sin, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he sin against thee seven times in a day, and seven times turn to thee, saying, I repent, thou shalt forgive him.



And he said to his disciples, It is impossible but that stumblingblocks will come; but woe to him through whom they come! It were better for him to have a millstone hung round his neck, and be cast into the sea, than to cause one of these little ones to fall away. Take heed to yourselves. Will he not rather say to him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself and serve me till I have eaten and drunken, and afterward thou shalt eat and drink? Doth he owe any thanks to that servant, because he did what was commanded? So also do ye, when ye have done all that hath been commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants; we have done what we were bound to do.

Moreover, if thy brother sin, go and reprove him between thee and him alone. If he listen to thee, thou hast gained thy brother; but if he do not listen, take with thee one or two more; that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he disregard them, tell the matter to the church; but if he disregard the church also, let him be to thee as a heathen and a publican. read more.
Truly do I say to you, Whatever ye shall bind on earth will be bound in heaven; and whatever ye shall loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
