It was Jehovah who hardened their hearts to make war against Israel. That way he could completely destroy them. That they might have no favor, but that he might destroy them, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

Forgive sins and they are forgiven. Do not forgive sins and they are not forgiven.

Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men. But the blasphemy against God's Spirit will not be forgiven. If any man see his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he will ask, and God will give him life for them that sin not leading to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I do not say that he should make request concerning this.

If you forgive others their sins, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. If you do not forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.

You should speak and act as men who are to be judged by a law of liberty. For judgment is without mercy to him who shows no mercy. And mercy triumphs over judgment.

When making an offering at the altar and you remember your brother has something against you, leave your gift at the altar and go make peace with your brother. Then return and make your offering.

Stop judging, so that you will not be judged. As you judge, so you will be judged. As you measure, it will be measured to you.

Do not judge and you will not be judged. Do not condemn and you will not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven. Give and it shall be given to you. You will receive a good measure. It will be pressed down, shaken together, running over and they will give it to you. For with the measure that you measure out it will be measured to you also.

My heavenly Father will treat you like that if you do not forgive your brother from your heart.
