When Jesus saw his mother, and the disciple standing whom he loved, he said unto his mother, "Woman behold thy son." Then said he to the disciple, "Behold thy mother." There stood a vessel full of vinegar by. And they filled a sponge with vinegar, and wound it about with hyssop, and put it to his mouth.
