And, as they were coming down out of the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying, "Tell the vision to no one, until the Son of Man be raised from among the dead." And His disciples asked Him, saying, "Why, then, do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?" And He, answering, said, "Elijah, indeed, comes, and will restore all things; but I say to you that Elijah already came, and they recognized him not, but did with him whatsoever they wished: so also the Son of Man is about to suffer by them." Then the disciples understood that He spake to them concerning John the Immerser.
