Now when the Pharisees and Sadducees came to test Jesus, they asked him to show them a sign from heaven.
Then the Pharisees came and began to argue with Jesus, asking for a sign from heaven to test him.
Others, to test him, began asking for a sign from heaven.
Then some of the experts in the law along with some Pharisees answered him, "Teacher, we want to see a sign from you."
As he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, his disciples came to him privately and said, "Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?"
So then the Jewish leaders responded, "What sign can you show us, since you are doing these things?"
So Jesus said to him, "Unless you people see signs and wonders you will never believe!"
So they said to him, "Then what miraculous sign will you perform, so that we may see it and believe you? What will you do?

Then some of the experts in the law along with some Pharisees answered him, "Teacher, we want to see a sign from you." For I tell you, unless your righteousness goes beyond that of the experts in the law and the Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
