Fear » The fear of the lord
enduring forever;
the ordinances of the Lord are reliable
and altogether righteous.
than great treasure with turmoil.
is the beginning of knowledge;
fools despise wisdom and discipline.
I hate arrogant pride, evil conduct,
and perverse speech.
“The fear of the Lord is this: wisdom.
And to turn from evil is understanding.”
one will sleep at night
and one turns from evil by the fear of the Lord.
all who follow His instructions
His praise endures forever.
and the knowledge of the Holy One
but the years of the wicked are cut short.
In the fear of the Lord one has strong confidence and his children have a refuge. The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, turning people from the snares of death.

The Lord is exalted, for He dwells on high; He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness. There will be times of security for you- a storehouse of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the Lord is Zion's treasure.

I, Wisdom, share a home with shrewdness and have knowledge and discretion. To fear the Lord is to hate evil. I hate arrogant pride, evil conduct, and perverse speech. I possess good advice and competence; I have understanding and strength.
Look, I have taught you statutes and ordinances as the Lord my God has commanded me, so that you may follow them in the land you are entering to possess. Carefully follow [them], for this will [show] your wisdom and understanding in the eyes of the peoples. When they hear about all these statutes, they will say, 'This great nation is indeed a wise and understanding people.'
