A bad messenger shall fall into evil: but a faithful ambassador is medicine.


As the cold of snow in the time of harvest, so is a faithful messenger to those that send him, for he refreshes the soul of his master.

For verily I say unto you that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Remove thyself and cast thyself into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that what he says shall be done whatsoever he says shall be done unto him.


He that is faithful with little is faithful also with much, and he that is unjust with little is unjust also with much. If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true? And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?

Even as Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Know ye therefore that those who are of faith, the same are the sons of Abraham.





For the LORD loves uprightness and does not forsake his merciful ones; they are preserved for ever, but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.


Thus has the LORD said, In an acceptable time I have heard thee, and in the day of saving health I have helped thee; and I will preserve thee and give thee for a covenant of people, that thou might awaken the earth, that thou might inherit the desolate heritages;

Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus, and the Syrians became slaves to David, bringing presents. And the LORD saved David wherever he went.

And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes that we might fear the LORD our God for our good always that he might give us life, as it is at this day.

Only that with diligence ye keep yourselves doing the commandment and the law, which Moses, the slave of the LORD, charged you: to love the LORD your God and to walk in all his ways and to keep his commandments and to cleave unto him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.



And now, Israel, what does the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways and to love him and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

Therefore, thou shalt love the LORD thy God and keep his charge and his statutes and his rights and his commandments, always.

Then the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth, that God is one, and there is none other outside of him; and to love him with all the heart and with all the understanding and with all the soul and with all the strength and to love his neighbour as himself is more than all the burnt offerings and sacrifices.

See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; for I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his rights, that thou may live and be multiplied; and may the LORD thy God bless thee in the land into which thou dost enter to inherit it.

Therefore take heed for your souls that ye love the LORD your God.

For the LORD gives wisdom; out of his mouth comes knowledge and intelligence. He keeps the person of the upright; he is a buckler to those that walk perfectly, keeping the paths of judgment and the way of his merciful ones.
