Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together; who caused this to be heard from the beginning and has declared it from that time, except me, the LORD? and there is no God beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is no one besides me. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no one else.

Yet ye have forsaken me and served other gods; therefore, I will deliver you no more. Go and cry unto the gods which ye have chosen; let them deliver you in the time of your affliction.

I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.

But where are thy gods that thou hast made thee? Let them arise, if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble, for according to the number of thy cities were thy gods, O Judah.

Truly the hills are vanity, the multitude of mountains; truly in the LORD our God is the salvation of Israel.

Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense, who shall not be able to save them in the time of their trouble.

Joshua, therefore, came unto them suddenly, for he went up from Gilgal all night. And the LORD discomfited them before Israel and slew them with a great slaughter at Gibeon and chased them along the way that goes up to Bethhoron and smote them to Azekah and unto Makkedah.

he delivered me from strong enemies, from those that hated me, who were stronger than I.

He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from those who hated me, even though they were too strong for me.

Salvation belongs unto the LORD; thy blessing shall be upon thy people. Selah.

Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king, speaking unto Daniel, said, Thy God whom thou servest continually, may he deliver thee. And a stone was brought and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet ring and with the signet ring of his princes that the agreement concerning Daniel might not be changed. Therefore, the king arose very early in the morning at dawn and went in haste unto the den of lions. And when he came to the den, he cried loudly with a sad voice unto Daniel; and the king, in speaking to Daniel said, Daniel, servant of the living God, has thy God, whom thou servest continually, been able to deliver thee from the lions? Then Daniel said unto the king, O king, live for ever. My God has sent his angel, who shut the lions' mouths, that they do me no evil because before him righteousness was found in me; and even before thee, O king, I have done no corruption.

And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and the guards before the door that kept the prison. And he went out and followed him and knew not that it was true which was done by the angel, but thought he saw a vision. When they were past the first and the second guard, they came unto the iron gate that leads unto the city, which opened to them of its own accord, and they went out and passed on through one street, and then the angel departed from him. And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety that the Lord has sent his angel and has delivered me out of the hand of Herod and from all the people of the Jews who waited for me.

But at midnight as Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto God, and the prisoners heard them, then suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

The LORD has made bare the arm of his holiness before the eyes of all the Gentiles; and all the ends of the earth shall see the saving health of our God.

The LORD has made known his saving health; he has openly showed his righteousness in the sight of the Gentiles.

And he said, It is a light thing that thou should be my slave to wake up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the desolations of Israel; I have also given thee for a light to the Gentiles that thou may be my saving health unto the end of the earth.

as it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord; make his paths straight. Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low, and the crooked ways shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth; and all flesh shall see the saving health of God.

The voice of him that cries in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places made plain: And the glory of the LORD shall be manifested, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of the Christ; for it is the power of God to give saving health to every one that believes: to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my saving health; he is my God, and I will prepare him a habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.

Surely his saving health is near those that fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.

And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the Gentiles, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have never heard my name, nor seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.

And I will set my glory among the Gentiles, and all the Gentiles shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.

Incline thine ear unto me; deliver me speedily; be thou my strong rock, for a house of defence to save me.

I have waited for thy saving health, O LORD.

Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul; let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.

But I corrected my prayer unto thee, O LORD, in the time of thy good pleasure; O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy saving health. Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not drown; let me be delivered from those that hate me and out of the deep waters. Let not the violent force of the waters overcome me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

For the LORD shall be our judge, the LORD shall be our lawgiver, the LORD shall be our king; he himself will save us.

Say to those that are of a fearful heart, Be comforted, fear not; behold, your God comes with vengeance, with recompense; God himself will come and save you.

Therefore say unto the sons of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will free you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm and with great judgments.

and call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Because he has set his will upon me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high because he has known my name.

And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria, and I will defend this city.

And even to your old age I am he, and even to grey hairs I will carry you; I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will deliver you.

As the shepherd recognizes his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered, so will I recognize my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work and will save me for his heavenly kingdom, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who is for the sons of thy people, and it shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there were people until now, but in that time thy people shall escape, all those that are found written in the book.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

No temptation has taken you but such as is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above what ye are able but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished;

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the entire world, to try those that dwell upon the earth.
