Thou, O LORD, art alone; thou hast made the heavens and the heavens of the heavens, with all their host, the earth and all things that are therein, the seas and all that is therein, and thou givest life to them all; and the host of the heavens worship thee.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
The earth is the LORD's, and the fullness thereof; the world and they that dwell therein. For he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers.
The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up with eternal dominion, from the beginning, before the earth was. I was begotten before the depths, before the existence of the fountains of many waters.read more.
Before the mountains were founded, before the hills was I begotten. While as yet he had not made the earth nor the fields nor the beginning of the dust of the world, when he composed the heavens, I was there. When he set a compass upon the face of the depth, when he established the clouds above, when he strengthened the fountains of the deep, when he gave to the sea his decree that the waters should not pass his commandment, when he appointed the foundations of the earth, I was with him ordering everything; I was his delight every day, being content before him at all times; I am content in the circumference of his earth, and my contentment is with the sons of men.
Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where shall remain this house that ye built unto me? and where shall remain this place of my rest? For all these things my hand has made, by my hand has these things been, said the LORD; but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit and trembles at my word.
All things were made by him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.
And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord and said, Lord, thou art the God, who hast made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all that is in them,
and saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all the things that are therein,
The God that made the world and all the things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands;
And God said, Let there be light, and there was light. And God saw that the light was good, and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
I form the light and create darkness; I make peace and create evil: I am the LORD that does all this.
And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made a firmament and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. And God called the firmament Heavens. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
By the word of the LORD were the heavens made, and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
look unto him that makes the seven stars and Orion and turns the shadow of death into the morning and makes the day dark with night, that calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name;
saying with a loud voice, Fear God and give glory to him, for the hour of his judgment is come; and worship him that has made the heaven and the earth and the sea and the fountains of waters.
And God said, Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear; and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters he called Seas; and God saw that it was good.

And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living soul after its nature, beasts and serpents and animals of the earth after its nature; and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after its kind and cattle after their kind and every thing that moves upon the earth after its kind; and God saw that it was good.
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over the beasts and over all the earth and over every serpent that moves upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
The Spirit of God made me, and the breath of the Almighty gave me life.
