Leave off from wrath, and let go displeasure; let not thy jealousy move thee also to do evil. For wicked doers shall be rooted out; but they that patiently abide the LORD, shall inherit the land. Suffer yet a little while, and the ungodly shall be clean gone; thou shalt look after his place, and he shall be away. If ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive: what thank shall ye have: for the very sinners, lend to sinners, to receive as much again. Wherefore, love ye your enemies, do good, and lend, looking for nothing again: and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the highest: for he is kind unto the unkind, and to the evil.

Let every soul submit himself unto the authority of the higher powers. For there is no power, but of God. The powers that be, are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth power, resisteth the ordinance of God. And they that resist, shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not to be feared for good works but for evil. Wilt thou be without fear of the power? Do well then: and so shalt thou be praised of the same.
