For his eyes are on the ways of an individual, he observes all a person's steps.

You plan great things and you do mighty deeds. You see everything people do. You reward each of them for the way they live and for the things they do.


I keep your precepts and rules, for you are aware of everything I do.

You carefully observe me when I travel or when I lie down to rest; you are aware of everything I do.

Even when my strength leaves me, you watch my footsteps. In the path where I walk they have hidden a trap for me.

For the ways of a person are in front of the Lord's eyes, and the Lord weighs all that person's paths.



Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, for all his deeds are right and his ways are just. He is able to bring down those who live in pride.

He takes his battle position and shakes the earth; with a mere look he frightens the nations. The ancient mountains disintegrate; the primeval hills are flattened. He travels on the ancient roads.

The Lord is just in all his actions, and exhibits love in all he does.


Who is wise? Let him discern these things! Who is discerning? Let him understand them! For the ways of the Lord are right; the godly walk in them, but in them the rebellious stumble.



For the ways of a person are in front of the Lord's eyes, and the Lord weighs all that person's paths.



The wicked need to abandon their lifestyle and sinful people their plans. They should return to the Lord, and he will show mercy to them, and to their God, for he will freely forgive them. "Indeed, my plans are not like your plans, and my deeds are not like your deeds, for just as the sky is higher than the earth, so my deeds are superior to your deeds and my plans superior to your plans.

"Yet you say, 'The Lord's conduct is unjust!' Hear, O house of Israel: Is my conduct unjust? Is it not your conduct that is unjust? When a righteous person turns back from his righteousness and practices wrongdoing, he will die for it; because of the wrongdoing he has done, he will die. When a wicked person turns from the wickedness he has committed and does what is just and right, he will preserve his life. read more.
Because he considered and turned from all the sins he had done, he will surely live; he will not die. Yet the house of Israel says, 'The Lord's conduct is unjust!' Is my conduct unjust, O house of Israel? Is it not your conduct that is unjust? "Therefore I will judge each person according to his conduct, O house of Israel, declares the sovereign Lord. Repent and turn from all your wickedness; then it will not be an obstacle leading to iniquity.

"Yet your people say, 'The behavior of the Lord is not right,' when it is their behavior that is not right. When a righteous man turns from his godliness and commits iniquity, he will die for it. When the wicked turns from his sin and does what is just and right, he will live because of it. read more.
Yet you say, 'The behavior of the Lord is not right.' House of Israel, I will judge each of you according to his behavior."


There is a way that seems right to a person, but its end is the way that leads to death.



Discretion will protect you, understanding will guard you, to deliver you from the way of the wicked, from those speaking perversity, who leave the upright paths to walk on the dark ways, read more.
who delight in doing evil, they rejoice in perverse evil; whose paths are morally crooked, and who are devious in their ways;

The path of life is upward for the wise person, to keep him from going downward to Sheol.


The one who heeds instruction is on the way to life, but the one who rejects rebuke goes astray.
