Let the husband give his wife her due, and likewise the wife her husband. The wife is not mistress of her own person,

because a husband is the head of his wife even as Christ is head of the church, his body, which he saves.

In the same way you wives must be submissive to your own husbands; so that if some of them will not believe the message, they may apart from the message be won over by the behavior of their wives,
