All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knows the Son, but the Father; neither knows any man the Father, except the Son, and he to whomever the Son will reveal him.

And the Holy Spirit descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, You are my beloved Son; in you I am well pleased.
For the Father loves the Son, and shows him all things that he himself does: and he will show him greater works than these, that you may marvel.
Believe you not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwells in me, he does the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
That they all may be one; as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that you have sent me.
And this is life eternal, that they might know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
Now my eyes shall be open, and my ears attentive unto the prayer that is made in this place. For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there forever: and my eyes and my heart shall be there perpetually.
He also exalts the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise you the LORD.
For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
He that has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Like as a father pities his children, so the LORD pities them that fear him.
Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spoke against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my heart is troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, says the LORD.

So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loves his wife loves himself.
Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods, which God has created to be received with thanksgiving of them who believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
