While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
But seek you first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Take heed unto yourself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this you shall both save yourself, and them that hear you.

But he that is married cares for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.
And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
Because he has set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he has known my name.
But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
Fulfill you my joy, that you be like minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with you to deliver you, says the LORD.
When a man has taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year, and shall bring happiness to his wife whom he has taken.

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust does corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
