7 Bible Verses about Christ's Joy

These things have I spoken to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full.

In that hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that, though thou didst hide these things from the wise and discerning, thou didst reveal them to babes. Yea, Father, for so it seemed good in thy sight. And turning to the disciples he said,

And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he hath come home, he calleth together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost. I say to you, that in like manner there will be joy in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninetynine righteous men who have no need of repentance.

But now I come to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy made full in them.

looking to the author and perfecter of the faith, Jesus, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

And he that sent me is with me; he hath not left me alone, for I always do the things that please him.

Truly, truly do I say to you, that ye will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; ye will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy. A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come; but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, through joy that a man is born into the world. So ye also now have sorrow; but I shall see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one taketh from you.
