And Jesus says to her, What is that to me and to thee? O woman, my hour is not yet come. His mother says to the servants, Do whatsoever He may say to you. And there were six waterpots of stone sitting there according to the purification of the Jews, containing about two or three firkins. Jesus says to them, Fill the waterpots with water. They filled them to the brim. And He says to them, Now draw out and carry to the chief ruler of the feast, and they brought it to him. And when the ruler of the feast tasted the water, having been made wine, and did not know whence it is (but the servants having drawn the water knew), the ruler calls the groom, and says to him, Every man first sets forth the good wine; and when they have drunk freely, the inferior: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

Keep yourself pure. No longer drink water, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and on account of your frequent sickness.

because all nations have fallen of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich from the costliness of her delicacy.

And again the second time, having gone away, He prayed, saying, My Father, if it is possible that this cup pass from me, if I shall not drink it, let thy will be done.

And having gone forward a little, He fell on His face, praying, and saying, My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me: moreover not as I will, but as thou wilt.

And He said, Father, Father, all things are possible to thee; take this cup from me; but not what I will, but what thou wilt.

And Jesus responding said, You know not what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup which I am about to drink? They say to Him, We are able. And He says to them, You shall indeed drink my cup, but to sit on my right, and on my left, this is not mine to give, but it belongs to those for whom it has been prepared by my Father.

And Jesus said to them, You know not what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup which I drink? and to be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized? And they said to Him, We are able. And Jesus said to them, You shall indeed drink the cup which I drink, and be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized:

Then Jesus said to Peter, Put thy sword in the scabbard: the cup which the Father gave me, shall I not drink it?

Jesus responded and said to her, Every one drinking of this water shall thirst again: but whosoever may drink of the water that I shall give to him shall never thirst; but the water which I shall give to him shall be in him a well of water springing up unto eternal life.

And on the last great day of the feast, Jesus stood and continued to cry out, saying, If any one thirst, let him come and drink.

Also taking the cup, and blessing it, He gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all, of it; for this is my blood which belongs to the new covenant, which is shed for many unto the remission of sin. And I say unto you, that I shall no more drink of the fruit of the vine, until that day when I may drink it new with you in the kingdom of my Father.

And taking the cup, blessing it, He gave it to them, and all drank of it. And He said to them, This is my blood, which belongs to the new covenant, which is poured out for many. Truly I say unto you, That I shall no more drink of the fruit of the vine, until that day when I may drink it new in the kingdom of God.

And receiving the cup, having given thanks, He said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves; for I say to you, I shall from now drink no more from the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God may come.

Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out in your behalf.

Then Jesus said unto them, Truly, truly, I say unto you, Unless you may eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. The one eating my flesh and drinking my blood has eternal life; and I will raise him up in the last day. For my flesh is the true food, and my blood is the true drink.read more.
