I forgave you all that debt, because you besought me. Ought you not to have had mercy on your fellow-servant, even as I had mercy on you? And his lord was angry, and delivered him to the jailers, till he should pay all that was due him. So also will my heavenly Father do to you, if, from your hearts, you forgive not every one his brother's offenses.

Luke 17:3-4

Take heed to yourselves; if your brother sin against you, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he sin against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to you and say, I repent, you shall forgive him.

Romans 15:1-2

But we that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of those who are not strong, and not to please ourselves. Let each one of us please his neighbor in that which is good for his edification.
