And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

And the second, which is like it, is this: You shall love your neighbor as your self. There is no other commandment greater than these.

All things, therefore, whatever you would that men should do to you, even so do you to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Honor your father and your mother; and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

Know you not that your bodies are the members of Christ? Shall I, then, take the members of the Christ, and make them the members of a harlot? It must not be. Know you not that he that is joined to a harlot, is one body? For the two, says the scripture, shall be one flesh. But he that is joined to the Lord, is one spirit. Shun lewdness. Every sin that a man commits, is without the body; but he that is guilty of lewdness sins against his own body. Know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, which you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price: therefore, glorify God in your body.

What has a temple of God in common with one of idols? For you are the temple of the living God, as God has said: I will dwell in them, and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

in whom you also are builded together, for a dwelling-place of God by his Spirit.

For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, if it be received with thanksgiving;

Let the brother that is in a lowly condition, glory in his exaltation: but he that is rich, in his humiliation; because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.

But much more are those members of the body necessary, which seem to be more feeble. And those members of the body, which, we think, are less honorable, around these we place the more abundant honor; and our uncomely members have the more abundant comeliness: for our comely members have no need. But God has so arranged the body, giving more abundant honor to that part which is deficient,read more.
that there may be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same anxious care, one for another;

For the ground of our rejoicing is this: the testimony of our conscience that we have lived in the world more abundantly, indeed, for you in sincerity and godly purity, not in carnal wisdom, but in the grace of God.

He who speaks of himself, seeks his own glory; he who seeks the glory of him that sent him, he is true, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

but let each one prove his own work, and then he will have cause to boast with respect to him self only, and not with respect to another:

Pray for us: for we trust that we have a good conscience, willing to live honor ably in all things.

That each one of you know how to keep his vessel in sanctification and in honor,

And a certain woman who had had an issue of blood for twelve years, and had suffered much from many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was in no way benefited, but rather grew worse, when she heard of Jesus, came be hind him in the multitude, and touched his mantle;read more.
for she said: If I may even touch his clothes, I shall be saved.

And behold, a woman that had been diseased with an issue of blood for twelve years, came behind him, and touched the fringe of his mantle. For she said within herself: If I may only touch his mantle, I shall be saved. But Jesus turned, and saw her, and said: Daughter, be of good courage; your faith has saved you. And the woman was saved from that hour.

And a woman that had been afflicted with an issue of blood for twelve years, who had spent her whole living upon physicians, and could be cured by no one, came behind, and touched the fringe of his mantle; and her issue of blood immediately ceased. And Jesus said: Who touched me? When they all denied, Peter and those with him said: Master, the multitudes press upon thee, and throng thee, and dost thou say, Who touched me?read more.
But Jesus said: Some one touched me; for I perceive that power has gone forth from me. And the woman, seeing that she had not escaped notice, came trembling, and fell down before him, and told him, before all the people, for what cause she had touched him, and that she was immediately restored to health. And he said to her: Take courage, daughter; your faith has saved you; go in peace.

And not many days after, the younger son, taking with him all that was his, left home for a distant country, and there wasted his property in riotous living. When he had spent all, there was a great famine throughout that country, and he began to be in want. And he went and attached himself to one of the citizens of that country, who sent him into his fields to feed swine.read more.
And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods which the swine did eat. And no one gave to him.

And as he entered a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, who stood at a distance. And they lift ed up their voice, saying: Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

Brethren, if a man be overtaken in any fault, do you, who are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering yourself, lest you also be tempted.

Do not rebuke an elderly man, but entreat him as a father; the younger men, as brothers: the elder women, as mothers; the younger women, as sisters, with all purity.
