The bird hurries to the snare without knowing it would cost his life. Listen to me dear sons and pay attention to the words of my mouth. Do not let your heart go after her ways. Do not stray in her paths. She has wounded many. Many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to the grave, going down to the chambers of death.
Then evil desires, when conceived, give birth to sin: and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death.

They have eyes full of adultery that cannot cease from sin! They entice unsteady persons. Their hearts are full of covetousness. They are children of cursing.
For, uttering arrogant words of vanity, they entice in the desires (lusts) of the flesh, by sensuality (lasciviousness), those who are just escaping from the ones who live in error.
On the fourth day they said to Samson's wife: Trick your husband into telling us what the riddle means. If you do not, we will burn your father's house with you in it. Did you invite us here to rob us?
