Therefore God gave them up to infamous affections; for their females changed a natural enjoyment for that which is against nature, and in like manner also the males, leaving the natural enjoyment of the female, became the subjects of inordinate desires for each other, males with males committing indecency, and receiving in return the recompense of their error which was fit. And he said, I will do this; I will take down my storehouses and build greater; and there will I bring together all my produce and my goods; and I will say to my soul, Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years rest, eat, drink, and enjoy yourself. So is every one that lays up treasures for himself and is not rich in God.

For this is the will of God, your purity, that you should abstain from fornication, that each one should know how to have his wife in purity and honor, not with inordinate desires like the gentiles who know not God,
And every one that contends in the games is temperate in all things, they indeed to obtain a perishable crown, we an imperishable. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly, and so strike, not as one who beats the air; but I brow-beat my body, and bring it into subjection, lest having preached to others I should myself be a reprobate.
But the end of all things is at hand. Be sober therefore, and watch in prayers;
and to knowledge temperance, and to temperance patience, and to patience piety,
Put to death, therefore, your members which are on the earth, fornication, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness which is idolatry,
but I tell you, that every one who looks on a woman to desire her inordinately, has already committed adultery with her in his heart. But if your right eye offends you, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is better for you that one of your members should perish, and not that your whole body should be cast into hell.
BELOVED, I exhort you as strangers and foreigners, abstain from carnal desires, which war against the soul,
For you are called to liberty, brothers, only make not your liberty an occasion for the flesh, but by love serve one another.
All things are lawful, but all things are not expedient; all things are lawful, but all things do not edify. Let no one seek his own but the good of another.
Do nothing in strife or vain glory, but in humility let each esteem others better than himself, and let each consider not his own interests, but also those of others.
And Zaccheus stood up and said to the Lord, Behold, half of my property, Lord, I give to the poor; and if I have defrauded any one of any thing, I restore fourfold.
