2 Bible Verses about Foolishness

And every one who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house upon the sand; and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell. And great was its fall." And when Jesus had finished these sayings, the crowds were astonished at his teaching,

"Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say? Every one who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles foolishness, but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
