15 Bible Verses about Giving Up

([Psalm of David]) How long, O Jehovah? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I make decisions alone with sorrow in my heart day after day? How long will my enemy triumph over me?

God will strengthen you with all power, according to the might of his glory, to all patience and longsuffering with joy. Give thanks to the Father, who made us partakers of the inheritance of the holy ones in the light.

We do not give up! Though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day. Our light affliction is for the moment. It works more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory for us.

By this we shall know we are of the truth, and will assure our heart before him. If our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.

Then he said: Go out and take your place on the mountain before Jehovah. Jehovah passed by and the force of a great wind parted the mountains. Rocks were broken before Jehovah but Jehovah was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but Jehovah was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake a fire, but Jehovah was not in the fire. And after the fire, the sounds of a soft breathe.

Be determined and with good courage. Do not be afraid of them. Your God, Jehovah, will be with you. He will not fail you or abandon you.

Jehovah directs a person's steps and Jehovah delights in his way. When he falls, he will not be thrown down headfirst because Jehovah holds on to his hand.

A righteous man falls seven times and rises up again. but the wicked will fall by evil.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Ephesians 6:12)

On that day his people will say: This is our God! We have waited for Him and now He will save us. This is Jehovah. We have waited for Him. Let us rejoice and be glad because He will save us.

I cry out to God Most High, To God who works for me. He will send from heaven, and save me, He rebukes the one who is pursuing me. God will send out his loving kindness and his truth.

He told me: My grace is sufficient for you for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore, I would rather glory in my infirmities (frailities), that the power of Christ may rest upon me (cover me like a tent) (descend upon me) (abide with me). (Isaiah 40:29-31) Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then I am strong.
