When Christ, who is our life, will be made known, then you will also be made known with him in glory.
The crown of righteousness is laid up for me. The Lord, the righteous judge, will give it to me at that day; and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing (manifestation).
When the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.

While in this tabernacle we groan and sigh with prayer. We are concerned that we would be clothed with what is mortal and be swallowed up (devoured) by this life. He that prepared us for this very purpose is God. He gave the Spirit to us as a guarantee (pledge) (security). We are always confident for we know that while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord. We walk by faith, not by sight. We are of good courage, I say, and are willing to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord. We make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to him.
Behold, I show you a secret. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last reverberation of the trumpet: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. When this corruptible shall be clothed with (Greek: enduo: dressed, put on) incorruption, and this mortal shall be clothed with immortality, then the saying will come true: Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your sting (power to hurt)? O grave, where is your victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks to God, because he gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
We tell you this by God's Word, that we who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede those who are asleep. For the Lord will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ will rise first. We that are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so will we ever be with the Lord.
You know the time. It is the hour for you to awake from sleep. Now our salvation is nearer than when we became believers.
He will also confirm (establish) you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
May he resolutely strengthen your hearts without blame in holiness before God, our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his holy ones.
May the very God of peace completely sanctify you (make you holy). I pray to God that your entire spiritual being, your mind and body, is preserved blameless until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
But he (Christ) reconciled you in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and without accusation before Him (God).
However, our citizenship is in heaven. We also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Christ will, through his power, bring everything under his authority. He will change our humble bodies and make them like his glorified (glorious) body (literally and figuratively: body of his glory). He is able to subject all things to himself.
Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed what we will be. We know that when he is revealed we will be like him. We will see him just as he is.
Give thanks to the Father, who made us partakers of the inheritance of the holy ones in the light.
Whatever you do, work at it without reservation, as to God, and not to men. You know that God will give you the reward of the inheritance when you serve the Master, Christ.
We also, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption and the release from our bodies by ransom.
It is appointed to men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. He will appear the second time without sin to those who look to him for their salvation.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy he gave us a new birth to a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. If children, then heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ. If indeed we suffer with him we may also be glorified with him.
