Stand up on your feet. I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of these things that you have seen, and of those things I will show to you.
I solemnly charge you in the sight (presence) of God, and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom:
The crown of righteousness is laid up for me. The Lord, the righteous judge, will give it to me at that day; and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing (manifestation).
Otherwise he would have to suffer often from the founding of the world. He has presented himself once at the end of the age to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
When Christ, who is our life, will be made known, then you will also be made known with him in glory.
Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed what we will be. We know that when he is revealed we will be like him. We will see him just as he is.
Look for the blessed hope and appearance of the glory of the great God. And look for our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Keep the commandment without spot and without reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Now, my little children dwell (Greek: meno: stay, dwell, be present) with him. If he shall be made known we may have boldness, and not be ashamed before him at his coming (presence) (being near).
The appearance of our Savior Christ Jesus revealed this. Jesus abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the good news.
Ananias went his way. He entered the house and put his hands on him and said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared to you along the road sent me, that you might receive your sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
After this two of them saw him in another form as they walked, on their way into the country.

Afterward he was revealed to the eleven as they sat at the table. He rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen him after he had risen.
Jesus showed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias. He presented himself this way.
This is the third time Jesus was seen by the disciples since he was raised from the dead.
More than five hundred brothers saw him at the same time after that. Most of them remain to this day, but some have fallen asleep [in death].
