Egypt will be desolation, and Edom will be a desolate wilderness. This is because of the violence done to the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
Even more, Manasseh killed many innocent men. He filled Jerusalem from one end to the other with blood. He also caused Judah to sin and do evil in the eyes of Jehovah.
This happened to Judah because Jehovah commanded it to happen. He wanted to remove the people of Judah from his sight because of Manasseh's sins and everything he had done, and especially because of all the innocent people he killed. Jehovah would not forgive Manasseh for that.
We are being killed all day long because of you. We are thought of as sheep to be slaughtered.
It is written: For your sake we are put to death all day long. We are considered as sheep for the slaughter. (Psalm 44:22)
