A joyful heart shall do good like a medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones.

And he shall cause the house to be scraped within round about, and they shall pour out the dust that they scrape off outside the city into an unclean place;

And whoever touches his bed shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water and be unclean until the evening.

And as for thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water to supple thee; thou wast not salted at all, nor swaddled at all.

For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.

Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed; howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.

Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? Why then was there no medicine for the daughter of my people?

The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked; who shall know it?

A joyful heart makes a beautiful countenance, but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is abated.

When there is among you any man that is not clean by reason of uncleanness that chances by night, then he shall go abroad out of the camp; he shall not come within the camp. And it shall be when evening comes, he shall wash himself with water, and when the sun is down, he shall come into the camp again. Thou shalt have a place also outside the camp where thou shalt go forth abroad;read more.
and thou shalt have a stake among thy weapons; and it shall be when thou wilt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig with it and shalt turn back and cover thy excrement; for the LORD thy God walks in the midst of thy camp to deliver thee and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore, shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee and turn away from thee.

Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed; howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed. We applied the medicine to Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go each one into his own land; for her judgment is come unto heaven and is lifted up even to the clouds.
