23 Bible Verses about Men Working

For even when we were with you we commanded you this, that if any man will not work, neither let him eat.

But if any man does not provide for his own, and especially those belonging his household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

And LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

The overseer therefore must be blameless, the husband of one wife, without wine, serious minded, disciplined, loving strangers, able to teach,

and to aspire to live quietly, and to do your own things, and to work with your own hands, just as we commanded you, so that ye may walk properly toward those outside, and may have nothing lacking.
