I am the bread of life, your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and there they died. but this is the bread which came down from heaven, that he who eats thereof should not die. I am the living bread, that is come down from heaven: whosoever shall eat of this bread, shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give, is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

I am the true pastor: the true pastor exposes his life for the sheep.

Jesus then having reassumed his discourse, said to them, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me, shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

while I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

and I will pray the father, and he shall give you another advocate, to abide with you for ever;

but when the advocate is come, whom I will send to you from the father, even the spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the father, he shall testify of me.

nevertheless, I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I do not go away, the advocate will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him to you.

the spirit and the bride say, come. let him that heareth, say, come. let him that is a-thirst, come: and whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
