So also you outwardly appear to men to be just, but within you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

But beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but within are ravenous wolves.

are you not partial in yourselves? and do you not judge from false principles?

Because you say I am rich, and abound in wealth, and have need of nothing, and know not that you are miserable and pitiable and poor and blind and naked,

When, therefore, you do a charitable deed, do not cause a trumpet to be sounded before you, as the hypocrites do, in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be glorified by men. Verily, I say to you, They have their reward.

We do not again commend ourselves to you, but give you an occasion to boast of us, that you may be able to answer those who glory in appearance, and not in heart.

As many as wish to make a fair show in the flesh, these compel you to be circumcised, only that they may not suffer persecution for the cross of the Christ.

For this reason we faint not: but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day. by day. For our present light affliction works out for us an eternal fullness of glory, excelling all excellence, ls while we look not at the things that are seen, but at the things that are not seen: for the things seen are temporal; but the things not seen are eternal. #VALUE!

In like manner, also, I will that the women adorn themselves with decorous dress, with modesty and sobriety, not with plaited hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly raiment, but with good works; since this becomes women who profess godliness.
