Then Haggai, the LORD's messenger, spoke the LORD's message to the people, saying, "I am with you," says the LORD.

Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid, nor be scared of them: for the LORD your God, he it is who does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you."

May the LORD our God be with us, as he was with our fathers. Let him not leave us, nor forsake us;

"Look, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son. They shall call his name Immanuel;" which is translated, "God with us."

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin will conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

It will sweep onward into Judah. It will overflow and pass through; it will reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of its wings will fill the breadth of your land, Immanuel.

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them."

teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. And look, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you.

for I am with you, and no one will attack you to harm you, for I have many people in this city."

I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever,? the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive; because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you.

All this I have spoken to you while I am still with you. But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you. Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Counselor won't come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.

Jesus said, "Truly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or mother, or father, or children, or land, for my sake, and for the sake of the Good News, but he will receive one hundred times more now in this time, houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and land, with persecutions; and in the age to come, eternal life.

Everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, will receive one hundred times, and will inherit eternal life.

He said to them, "Truly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or wife, or brothers, or parents, or children, for the Kingdom of God's sake, who will not receive many times more in this time, and in the world to come, eternal life."

You shall serve the LORD your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from your midst.

I have also given you that which you have not asked, both riches and honor, so that there shall not be any among the kings like you, all your days.

wisdom and knowledge is granted to you. I will give you riches, wealth, and honor, such as none of the kings have had who have been before you; neither shall there any after you have the like."

He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is your keeper. The LORD is your shade on your right hand.read more.
The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forevermore.

But seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

For bodily exercise has some value, but godliness has value in all things, having the promise of the life which is now, and of that which is to come.

receiving the result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

in whom you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your salvation,?in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is a pledge of our inheritance, to the redemption of God's own possession, to the praise of his glory.

Not only so, but ourselves also, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for adoption, the redemption of our body.

who also sealed us, and gave us the down payment of the Spirit in our hearts.

Now he who made us for this very thing is God, who also gave to us the down payment of the Spirit.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ;

But you have come to Mount Zion, and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable multitudes of angels, to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus, the mediator of a New Covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better than that of Abel.

But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, so neither can we carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that.

He said to them, "Beware. Keep yourselves from all covetousness, for a man's life does not consist of the abundance of the things which he possesses." I will tell my soul, "Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years. Take your ease, eat, drink, be merry."' "But God said to him, 'You foolish one, tonight your soul is required of you. The things which you have prepared?whose will they be?'

and behold, joy and gladness, killing cattle and killing sheep, eating flesh and drinking wine: "Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we will die."

If I fought with animals at Ephesus for human purposes, what does it profit me? If the dead are not raised, then "let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die."

whose end is destruction, whose god is the belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who think about earthly things.

But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow let us go into this city, and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit." Whereas you do not know what tomorrow will be like. What is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. For you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that."read more.
But now you glory in your boasting. All such boasting is evil. To him therefore who knows to do good, and does not do it, to him it is sin.

Charge those who are rich in this present world that they not be haughty, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy;

for he says, "At an acceptable time I listened to you, in a day of salvation I helped you." Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation.

Know therefore this day, and lay it to your heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other. You shall keep his statutes, and his commandments, which I command you this day, that it may go well with you, and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land, which the LORD your God gives you, forever.

Moses called to all Israel, and said to them, Hear, Israel, the statutes and the ordinances which I speak in your ears this day, that you may learn them, and observe to do them.

You shall therefore keep the commandment, and the statutes, and the ordinances, which I command you this day, to do them.

to keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command you this day for your good?

Behold, I have set before you this day life and good, and death and evil. If you obey the commandments of the LORD your God that I command you this day to love the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his ordinances, that you may live and multiply, and that the LORD your God may bless you in the land where you go in to possess it.

for he is our God. We are the people of his pasture, and the sheep in his care. Today, oh that you would hear his voice. Do not harden your heart, as at Meribah, as in the day of Massah in the wilderness,

Seek the LORD while he may be found; call you on him while he is near:

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap according to kindness. Break up your fallow ground; for it is time to seek the LORD, until he comes and rains righteousness on you.

Therefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, "Today if you will hear his voice,

Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise; redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

So then, as we have opportunity, let us do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.

Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.
