But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,
When they were past the first and the second guard, they came unto the iron gate that leads unto the city; which opened to them of its own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and immediately the angel departed from him.
And Pharaoh was angry against two of his officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the chief of the bakers. And he put them in custody in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison, the place where Joseph was bound.
And Joseph's master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison.
Then Zedekiah the king commanded that they should commit Jeremiah into the court of the prison, and that they should give him daily a piece of bread out of the bakers' street, until all the bread in the city was gone. Thus Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison.
