And his disciples came and took up the body and buried it and went and told Jesus. When Jesus heard of it, he departed from there by ship into a desert place apart; and when the people had heard of it, they followed him on foot out of the cities.

Then the disciples came to Jesus apart and said, Why could not we cast him out?

And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out?

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming and of the end of the age?

Verily I say unto you, They already have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy chamber, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father who is in secret; and thy Father who sees in secret shall reward thee openly.

And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship and to go before him unto the other side while he sent the multitude away. And when he had sent the multitude away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray; and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

And straightway he told his disciples to get quickly into the ship and to go to the other side before him unto Bethsaida while he dispatched the people. And when he had dispatched them, he departed into the mountain to pray.

Then Jesus came with them unto a place called Gethsemane and said unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.

And they come to the place which is named Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, Sit ye here while I pray.

And he came out and went as he was wont to the mount of Olives, and his disciples also followed him. And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation. And he withdrew from them about a stone's cast and kneeled down and prayed,read more.
saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me; nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

And it came to pass in those days that he went out into the mountain to pray and continued all night in prayer to God.
