And He is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Herein is love; not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent his Son to be a propitiation for our sins.

But now, without the law, righteousness before God is manifested, being attested by the law and the prophets; and this righteousness of God is by faith in Jesus Christ unto all and upon all believers; for there is no difference; for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God;read more.
being justified freely by his grace, because of the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: whom God hath appointed to be a propitiation, through faith in his blood, for a demonstration of his righteousness, in the remission of past sins, according to the forbearance of God; for a demonstration, I say, of his righteousness at this time: that He might be just, and the justifier of him, that believeth in Jesus.

But by thy hardness and impenitence of heart thou art treasuring up to thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the just judgement of God,

Then will He say also to those on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was famishing, and ye gave me nothing to eat; I was a-thirst, and ye gave me no drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me not in; naked, and ye clothed me not; sick, and in prison, and ye took no care of me.read more.
Then will they also answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee famishing, or a-thirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not relieve thee? Then will He reply to them, saying, Verily I tell you, inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the lest of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life everlasting.

wherefore he that believeth on the Son, hath eternal life; and he that obeyeth not the Son, shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who withhold the truth in unrighteousness;

Let no one deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Much more then, being now justified by his blood, shall we be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son; much more being reconciled shall we be saved by his life.

And you that were formerly alienated, and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath He reconciled in the body of his flesh, through death, to present you holy, and unblameable, and unreproveable in his sight:

Whence it behoved Him to be made in all things like unto his brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful high-priest in the things concerning God, to make atonement for the sins of the people:

But Christ being come an high-priest of the good things to come, hath entered once for all into the holy places, through a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is, not of this building, nor by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purification of the flesh;read more.
how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself spotless to God, purify your conscience from dead works, that ye may serve the living God?

For when we were yet without strength, Christ died in due season for the ungodly. Whereas one would hardly die for a just man, though perhaps for a good man one might dare even to die. But God recommendeth his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

to declare, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing to them their trespasses, and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
