Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation, and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts, and establish you in all doctrine and good doing.
And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord which hath made me strong: for he counted me true, and put me in office,
For God hath not given to us the spirit of fear: but of power, and of love, and of soberness of mind.
Behold, I have said unto thee, be strong and bold: neither fear, nor dread. For the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."
And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, "Be strong and bold, for thou must go with this people unto the land which the LORD hath sworn unto their fathers to give them, and thou shalt give it them to inherit. Be not afraid, for I will be with thee. Look not behind thee, for I will be thy God, to strengthen thee, help thee, and to keep thee with this righthand of mine.

Nevertheless be of good cheer, O Zerubbabel, sayeth the LORD; be of good comfort, O Joshua thou son of Jozadak, high priest: take good hearts unto you also, all ye people of the land, sayeth the LORD of Hosts,
notwithstanding the Lord assisted me, and strengthed me, that by me the preaching should be fulfilled to the utmost and that all the gentiles should hear. And I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
Thou, therefore, my son be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
And now dear brethren I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build further, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
But by the grace of God I am that I am. And his grace which is in me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which is with me.
Be not carried about with divers and strange learning. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace, and not with meats, which have not profited them that have had their pastime in them.

And Jesus returned by the power of the spirit into Galilee, and the fame of him went throughout all the region round about.

And lest I should be exalted out of measure through the abundance of revelations, there was given unto me of God unquietness of the flesh: the messenger of Satan to buffet me, because I should not be exalted out of measure. And the women received their dead raised to life again. Others were racked, and would not be delivered, that they might receive a better resurrection. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered the king, an said, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we ought not to consent unto thee in this matter. For why? Our God whom we serve, is able to keep us from the hot burning oven, O king, and can right well deliver us out of thy hands: And if he will not, yet shalt thou know, O king, that we will not serve thy Gods, nor do reverence to the Image which thou hast set up."
He went away once more, and prayed, saying, "O my father, if this cup cannot pass away from me, but that I drink of it, thy will be fulfilled."
That according, as it is written, "He which rejoiceth, should rejoice in the Lord."
God forbid that I should rejoice but in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, whereby the world is crucified as touching me, and I as concerning the world.
That we may boldly say, "The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man doeth unto me."
Take my yoke on you, and learn of me; for I am meek, and lowly of heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
neither sought we praise of men, neither of you, nor yet of any other, when we might have been chargeable, as the apostles of Christ. But were tender among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children, so was our affection toward you. Our good will was to have dealt unto you, not the gospel of God only: but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us.
